Spartan is often seeking qualified individuals from the insurance field for various positions in our Bohemia NY and Shelton CT locations, including Recovery Specialists, Claim Assistants, IDW Investigation Representatives.
P&C Claims Professional
We are seeking to meet P&C Claims Professionals with a minimum of 1 year of claims experience in Automobile Liability, Property (Personal or Commercial) or General Liability. In these positions you would be responsible for identifying subrogation opportunities on closed claim files. Successful candidates should have excellent computer skills, an understanding of negligence and the ability to identify subrogation potential.
IDW Investigation Representative
We are accepting candidates who have at least one to two years prior claims experience and be able to review claims to identify cases in which there is a liable third party to pursue for recovery.
Claims Assistant
Applicants should possess prior experience with data entry, have a good working knowledge of claims support duties, inclusive of ordering police reports, DMV documents, scanning expand have excellent phone skills. In this position the Claim Assistant is responsible for supporting the Recovery Specialists.
Recovery Specialist
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of claims experience having handled Automobile Liability, Property (Personal or Commercial) or General Liability Experience writing Arbitration contentions is a plus. In the positions available you would be responsible for managing investigations, identifying and pursuing responsible third parties, overseeing subrogation counsel, and most importantly negotiating settlements, evaluating liability and negotiating settlements.
